BubbleLagoon: commercial match-3 with economy, seasons, and LiveOps admin
About the client
BubbleLagoon is a mobile match-3 game built around its own economy, progression, and many linked mechanics. The client mixes dynamic 2D animation and WebGL effects; core game and business logic live on a FastAPI backend. Play as a Telegram game: @bubblegamejBot.
The challenge we started with
- Build a full game economy and progression, not a bare match-3
- Manage RTP, reward rarity, and drops for different game scenarios
- Give live operations levers without constant code releases
- Keep client performance high with 2D animations and WebGL effects
Client: Vue.js, animation and WebGL
Dynamic 2D animations and WebGL effects in a high-performance client: levels, streaks, HUD, seasonal UI, and player progression scenarios.
Backend and economy on FastAPI
Core game and business logic on the server: currencies, rewards, rare items, the drop system, progression. A separate RTP and probability control layer lets balance and rarity be tuned per scenario.
Seasons and LiveOps admin
A seasonal system with its own progress, tasks, and rewards. The admin covers players and progress, resource grants, manual balance adjustment, rewards and probabilities, rare items, seasonal content, and game parameters.
Commercial games for business
Such a product can be embedded into a company's external and internal environment: a mini-game inside an existing app, a Telegram Mini App, promotions and discounts for playing, and employee or customer engagement without a separate game brand.
How it works
User scenario
- Launches the game in Telegram (@bubblegamejBot) and plays match-3 levels
- Collects currencies, streaks, and rewards, and takes part in seasonal progression
- Receives rare items and rewards according to configured drop scenarios
Team / admin scenario
- Manages players, progress, and resource grants from the admin
- Configures RTP, drop probabilities, and reward rarity per scenario
- Runs seasonal content, tasks, and economy parameters without code changes

Timeline: product: client → backend/economy → seasons → LiveOps admin → global update
Result and business effect
At peak BubbleLagoon held 50+ concurrent players online. After a major global update, new mechanics shipped and part of the game logic was reworked. The admin lets ops manage players and progress, grant resources and items, tune balance, configure rewards and drop odds, seasonal content, and parameters, without deploying code. The format scales: commercial games and mini-games can plug into a company’s internal or external contour, into existing apps, and into promotions or discounts for playing.
A fit if you need
- You need a commercial mobile or Telegram game, or a branded mini-game - iOS and Android apps
- You want to embed a game into a company's internal or external environment (promotions, discounts, engagement) - Telegram bots
- You need LiveOps: economy, RTP, seasons, and an admin without constant releases - Web applications
Frequently asked questions
Questions about this type of project, the same ones clients ask before a similar build.
Native or Flutter / React Native?
Native Swift and Kotlin give you full device capabilities and speed. Flutter and React Native share one codebase across platforms and are faster and cheaper for an MVP. We lock the choice after the brief, once flows, integrations and timeline are clear.
Do you handle App Store and Google Play publishing?
Yes. We prepare screenshots, descriptions and the privacy policy, take the build through Apple and Google review, and publish to RuStore. The app goes out under your developer account.
Would a Telegram Mini App or a website be enough?
For testing a hypothesis, often yes: a Mini App or website needs no install and no store review. An app pays off when push, offline mode, camera, biometrics and a home-screen icon matter. We will tell you honestly at the brief which format fits.
How much does an app cost and how long does it take?
Cost depends on the task: you get an estimate within 1–2 days after the brief. As a rough guide, an iOS and Android MVP takes 8–16 weeks with a tight first release.
Need a commercial game or mini-game for your business?
We’ll build a match-3, Telegram Mini App, or embed a game into your internal/external contour: promotions, play-to-discount, engagement. Share the scenario, we’ll estimate MVP, economy, and LiveOps.
