Perimeter intrusion detection with cameras

A person at the fence, and security knows in seconds

We draw zones and rules on the frame: the fence after 10 pm, the fuel store, an area without clearance. The model spots a person in the zone, tells them apart from a dog or a shadow, and sends security a clip. It does not identify anyone: no face recognition, and video is processed on your premises.

Why perimeter cameras do not help today

  • Twenty cameras feed one monitor. At night there is one operator, and he physically cannot watch them all.
  • The camera motion detector fires on branches, snow and cats. After a hundred false alarms, notifications get switched off.
  • A hole in the fence is discovered when cable goes missing from the yard. The footage exists, but it is watched after the incident.
  • Contractors walk into areas they are not cleared for, and nobody sees it until someone gets hurt.

What changes after launch

  • 01Security learns about a person in a zone as it happens
  • 02The operator watches short clips, not a wall of screens
  • 03Every event has a frame, time and zone for review

How the system works

  1. 01

    Zones and rules are drawn

Together with security we decide what counts as a violation: a person at the fence after closing, entry to the fuel store, lingering at the barrier for more than a couple of minutes. Zones are drawn directly on each camera frame.

  2. 02

    Tested on your footage

We take night, rain and winter clips and see where the model reliably detects a person and where floodlights, fog or bushes get in the way. You hear about it before launch.

  3. 03

The model finds a person in the zone

The detector looks for people, not for any movement. Animals, shadows, branches and headlights do not raise an alarm. No face recognition, no biometrics.

  4. 04

    Security gets a clip

An alert with zone, time and a short clip reaches the security console or Telegram within seconds. Optionally, a siren or floodlight goes on at the spot.

  5. 05

    Log and review

Every event is stored with a frame and the guard’s note: responded, false alarm, own staff. Once a month you see where the perimeter is weak.

Which scale is yours?

One task, three different projects. Pick the one that looks like you and press “I want this” — your request arrives tagged, and we send an estimate in 1–2 days.

Small business

common start

One zone that matters: the fence by the warehouse, a vehicle yard or the entrance to a hazardous area.

What we build

  • 1–2 cameras and one zone with time-based rules
  • Person detection that ignores animals and shadows
  • Alerts with a clip in Telegram
  • Model tested on your night footage
Integrations
Telegram, event log, optionally a siren or floodlight via a relay
Where it runs
Edge box on site: video never leaves the premises
Timeline
Guideline: 4–6 weeks to the first working version

Mid-size business

common start

The whole site perimeter plus several closed zones inside, with an in-house security team, a console and a response procedure.

What we build

  • Several zones with their own rules and schedules
  • Security console: alarm queue, clips, response marks
  • Link to the pass system: staff on shift or a stranger
  • Summary by zone and by false alarms
  • Support contract: we retrain the model for seasons and new cameras
Integrations
Pass system, security console, Telegram, sirens and lighting
Where it runs
Server on site: processed locally, in line with Russian data law (152-FZ)
Timeline
Guideline: 2–3 months to the first working version

Enterprise

common start

Many sites, an in-house security service, an existing VMS and access control, and the need for one response centre.

What we build

  • One set of zone rules for every site
  • Integration with your existing VMS and access control
  • Roles and video access by site
  • Operator action log and audit
  • Work under an SLA
Integrations
VMS, access control, security operations centre, internal APIs
Where it runs
Your servers or a closed perimeter: video of people stays inside the company, in line with Russian data law (152-FZ)
Timeline
Guideline: 3+ months, starting with a pilot at one site

Pilot from RUB 500,000. Beyond that we price by task and hours.

Questions

Do you recognise faces?

No. The system sees that a person is in the zone but does not determine who it is. We collect no biometrics. If you need to tell staff from strangers, we link the event to the pass system, not to a face.

Will cats and branches trigger alarms?

The model looks for people, not for any movement, so animals, shadows and branches are filtered out far better than by a camera motion detector. False alarms still happen, especially in fog and snowstorms: we review them and retrain the model on your frames.

Does it work at night?

If the camera has IR illumination or the zone is lit, usually yes. We check range and night image quality on your recordings before launch and tell you where extra lighting is needed.

Where does the video go?

Processing happens on site, on an edge box or your own server. Video of people is not sent to external services, which matters under Russian data law (152-FZ). Only the alert and a short clip leave the system, to the channel you choose.

How much does it cost?

Pilot from RUB 500,000. Beyond that, cost depends on the number of zones, cameras and integrations and is estimated by task and hours within 1–2 days.
